Inconsistent temperature and humidity levels can cause warping and cracking of unprocessed wood. To eliminate problems, woodworkers must properly maintain the Equilibrium Moisture Content (EMC) of wood. Applying ink is much more difficult at lower humidity levels, and paper products also benefit from a constantly controlled moisture level. Textiles require properly maintained humidity levels between 50 percent and 65 percent. Wine makers must confront the issue of excessive evaporation of wine through storage barrels. Industrial cooling systems solve many of these problems.
Misting systems are available with or without a fan option. Fans improve cooling performance through increased air flow. They are used extensively in warehouses, welding shops, and factories. High velocity fans offer a cooling distance of up to 50 feet, and for best results, look for cooling fans with 90 degree oscillating capacity and an adjustable tilting head.
Overall effectiveness of industrial cooling systems depends on existing temperature and humidity levels.
